What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?

Both monthly and annual billing are subscriptions that auto-renew until you cancel: monthly bills every month, and annual auto-renews the next year's fee each year. You can cancel either anytime in your account settings. Annual billing saves about 17%.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately: we prorate by the days left in the current period, charge the difference between the old and new plans, and keep the same auto-renewing subscription. Downgrades take effect after the current billing cycle ends, with no refund.

Upgrades take effect immediately. We prorate by the days left in the current period: we credit the remaining value of your old plan and charge for the remaining days of the new plan, so you pay only the difference. After upgrading you keep the same subscription, and from the next cycle it auto-renews at the new plan's rate.

When do the AI co-creation credits (Inspiration Credits) reset?

The FREE plan resets automatically on the 1st of each month; paid plans reset at each renewal charge (your billing cycle) — no action needed either way. All AI features share the same pool of Inspiration Credits; at reset your old allowance goes to zero and the new allowance is added right away.

The monthly allowance from your plan resets to zero each cycle; paid credits you buy separately never expire and stay until used up. We deduct from your monthly allowance first, and only tap paid credits once it's gone.

FREE lets you create 2 projects, 5 chapters, and 30 world settings, with 20 AI co-creation credits per month (Inspiration Credits, shared across all AI features). Each chapter is capped at 4,000 words. FREE doesn't support image uploads (character avatars) or exports.
