Account information: your email address, display name, and password (stored encrypted with BCrypt — we cannot recover your password).

Creative content: all your creative materials — projects, chapters, characters, settings, timelines, and more — stored in our database.

Usage data: basic feature-usage statistics (such as the number of AI conversations), used for billing and service-quota management.

LitMemo's AI features are processed through the third-party cloud platform Google Cloud Vertex AI. The specific services used may change at any time. When you use features such as AI chat and consistency checking, the relevant chapter content and materials are sent to Google Cloud Vertex AI for processing.

As of the date this page was last updated, under Google Cloud Vertex AI's API terms, customer data sent through the paid API is not used to train their AI models. Third-party providers' policies may change at any time; if there is a significant change, we will assess the impact and notify users.

If you do not want any content sent to third-party AI services, you can completely turn off AI features in your account settings. Once turned off, your content will not be sent to any third-party AI service.

Google account automatic sign-in prompt (One Tap): While you browse LitMemo, if you are already signed in to a Google account in your browser, the system may show a one-tap "Continue as X" sign-in prompt provided by Google. This feature is provided by Google Identity Services and places a Google cookie in your browser for identity verification. You can dismiss this prompt at any time (by clicking the "×"), and Google will automatically reduce how often it appears in the future. We do not receive any personal information from this prompt unless you actively click to sign in.

The data we collect is used only for the following purposes:

As a LitMemo user, you have the following rights:

• •Intellectual property: the intellectual property rights to all your creative content belong to you. You agree to grant LitMemo the limited license necessary to provide the service (such as storing, transmitting, and displaying your content).
• •AI choice: you can turn off AI features at any time in your account settings
• •Right to deletion: you can delete your projects and creative content at any time

LitMemo provides its service on an "as-is" basis and makes no express or implied warranties regarding the continued availability, security, data integrity, or error-free operation of the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LitMemo and its operating team shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruption, or the impact of changes to third-party services.

The third-party AI services that LitMemo uses are governed by those providers' own terms, and any changes to their policies are beyond LitMemo's control. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that third-party services meet the standards described in this Privacy Policy, but we cannot guarantee the actions of third parties.

This Privacy Policy is part of the Terms of Service and is subject to their governing-law provisions.
